Apprentice Electrician

Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be part of our team responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various industrial, commercial and/or institutional settings. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.

What will you do as an Apprentice Electrician at Spark Power?

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components in various settings
Installing conduit and wire, terminating conductors
Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems
Ordering required parts and controlling all job materials using our computer system
Completing work orders as per client specifications and input; reviewing the completed job with the customer, to ensure complete satisfaction
Maintaining a clean work area at all times, while demonstrating your commitment to safety in the workplace
Proactively preparing for upcoming work
Interacting with various individuals at different levels within the company

Do you have the Spark? Here's what we're looking for:

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

2 year's experience as an Electrical Apprentice is preferred

PLC experience is an asset

Post-secondary certification or training in a recognized Electrical program (ex ? IEC, WECA) is strongly preferred

Reliable with a positive attitude and ability to work as a contributing member of a team

Customer service mindset with a desire to exceed expectations

Ability to work overtime and on-call as required

Adhere to all Health and Safety standards and practices

Valid Drivers License and copy of State issued MVR

A criminal background check and drug testing if made an offer of employment
